Dr Ed Toll 

Paediatric ORL Surgeon, Starship Child Health, Auckland, NZ
Ed Toll graduated from the University of Bristol Medical School in 2006 before completing foundation and core surgical training programmes. He attained a Royal College of Surgeons of England Research Fellowship in 2011 and completed higher surgical training in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery in the South West of England in 2019. During his training he took time out to pursue his research interests in regenerative medicine at University College London, receiving further funding from the British Otorhinolaryngological Research Society and also worked as Clinical Fellow for the Complex Tracheal Service at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Ed completed his Fellowship in Paediatric ORL at Starship Children’s Hospital in 2020 and was subsequently appointed as Consultant Paediatric ORL Surgeon at Starship in 2021. Ed has subspecialty interests in paediatric airway and head and neck surgery.

Exit Procedure Update
 
This talk is a summary of EXIT procedure indications, planning, setup, technique and pitfalls, drawing on the experience of the Starship EXIT team and a review of recent literature.
