Dr Rebecca Garland was chair of the NZ TEAC since 2016. TEAC is part of the binational OHNS board providing oversight of SET training and IMG assessment. She has been a supervisor and member of the TEAC since 2009. Rebecca was been involved with the transition to a competency based program and a new curriculum. Current projects include cultural competency in training and selection review.
 
As NZ chair of training Rebecca spent some time on her sabbatical exploring cultural education and its role in surgical training.
